Description
A company is looking for an experienced Android Developer to take over the further development and maintenance of an existing Android app. In this role, you work closely with an interdisciplinary team and are actively involved in product development – from planning to operation.
The position offers the opportunity to shape modern technologies and architectures and to set up automated tests and CI/CD pipelines. An open feedback culture and participation in internal and external expert networks promote knowledge sharing.
- Further development and maintenance of the Android app

Requirements
- Several years of experience in Android development
- Solid knowledge of Kotlin as the preferred programming language for years
- Strong communication skills, enjoyment of teamwork, and willingness to meet monthly in Cologne
- Confident handling of recommended Android architectures as well as MVVM, modularization, and dependency injection
- Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose; XML knowledge also present
- Experience with REST, Firebase, and databases
- Familiarity with clean code principles, Flows, Coroutines, interceptors, Retrofit, and lifecycles
- Writing tests routinely is part of your daily work
