With DIGIDY, I support companies and agencies with the planning, development and ongoing improvement of Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. As a freelance Senior Shopify Consultant, I combine strategic consulting, technical implementation and operational E-Commerce Management – for D2C brands, B2B companies and internationally oriented online retailers.

I support existing teams as a Shopify specialist, take over the management of projects and sub-projects, or support companies as an external E-Commerce Manager. I translate business requirements into specific technical solutions and coordinate implementation with internal teams, agencies and other service providers.

• Consulting & Project Management Shopify consulting, requirements analysis, technical planning, feasibility checks and selection of suitable apps and integrations. Project planning, prioritization, coordination and quality assurance through go-live and beyond.

• E-Commerce Management & Ongoing Support Operational and strategic development of existing stores: identifying optimization opportunities, planning measures, improving store processes and coordinating implementation with marketing, development and logistics.

• Shopify Development & Theme Editing Custom programming with Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Theme development, theme customization and implementation of UX/UI designs, as well as development of custom sections, blocks, templates and store features.

• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Store audits and optimization of the customer journey – from navigation, search and filters through product pages and the buy box to the cart and checkout. Focus on mobile user guidance, clear purchase decisions and fewer abandoned purchases.

• Shopify Plus & B2B E-Commerce Planning and implementation of B2B stores and retailer portals with custom catalogs, price lists, customer approvals and ordering processes. Checkout customizations with Checkout Extensibility, Checkout UI Extensions and Shopify Functions.

• Internationalization, Shopify Markets & Multilingual Stores Setup and optimization of international store structures with country-specific markets, languages, currencies, prices and product ranges. Implementation of translation processes and localized content, as well as coordination of domains and URL structures.

• Complex Shipping Requirements & Shipping Planning and configuration of shipping profiles, shipping zones and shipping rates. Implementation of product-, customer-, country- and postal-code-dependent shipping rules, as well as coordination of multiple warehouse locations and fulfillment processes via Shopify, apps and integrations.

• Tax Settings & B2B Tax Logic Technical configuration of tax settings, net/gross prices, tax exemptions and VAT ID processes according to the requirements of the company and its tax advisors – coordinated for markets, customer groups and shipping locations.

• Store Setup, Relaunch & Migration Support for Shopify projects from planning through data migration and system integration to launch. Support when switching from existing store systems to Shopify or Shopify Plus.

• Integrations & Automation Integration of ERP, inventory management and other third-party systems via APIs and webhooks. Automation of recurring processes with Shopify Flow and custom integrations.

• AI-Assisted Development, Vibe Coding & MCP Use of Cursor, Codex and AI-assisted development tools for prototypes, custom features and automations. Use of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to integrate documentation and tools into development processes – with technical review and a focus on maintainable code.
