Description
A company is looking for an experienced test engineer to certify the new product portfolio in the field of IoT devices. The focus is on preparing documentation and tests. The project's goal is to ensure technical quality and on-time delivery during the approval and validation of IoT devices.
The role includes planning, executing, and documenting functional tests, integration and system tests, as well as defining and automating test strategies, test plans, and test cases. The test engineer will work closely with product managers and internal departments to meet the project's requirements.
Main tasks:
- Conducting approval tests (e.g. CE, FCC) and validation against specifications
- Planning, executing, and documenting functional tests, integration and system tests for IoT devices
- Defining and automating test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Coordinating with product managers and internal departments
- Ensuring technical quality and on-time delivery
Requirements
- Experience testing embedded systems, connected devices, or IoT products
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and hands-on experience with manual and automated tests
- Experience with test tools and management systems (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Good understanding of radio technologies (e.g. GNSS, LTE-M, NB-IoT, Bluetooth)
- Structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
- English skills are essential as this is an international project
