Description
A company is looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Consultant – Data Analytics for an ongoing project to migrate platforms from Qlik Sense to MS Power BI. The goal of the project is the analysis, design, and development of user-centered applications as well as migrating existing dashboards and data models to a new target architecture.
The consultant will play a central role in planning, development, and documentation to ensure that all requirements are met and the systems are seamlessly integrated.
Planning
Analysis of existing systems, applications, and architectures.
Design of user-centered web applications based on cloud technologies.
Design of functional interfaces between applications and processes.
Development
Implementation of user-centered web applications with cloud technologies.
Creation of high-performance data models and dashboards in Power BI, including dataflows.
Transformation of designs into prototypes and technical consulting.
Testing and debugging of software applications.
Building database structures and interfaces between databases/systems.
Documentation
Creation of comprehensive development documentation.
Delivery of an operations and development manual.
Requirements
Must-haves:
Solid experience migrating Qlik Sense dashboards or use cases to Power BI.
Expertise in creating high-performance data models/dashboards in Power BI, including dataflows.
Knowledge of incrementally loading Oracle-based DWH data into the data lake using DBT.
Excellent skills in SQL, DAX, Power Query (M formula).
Nice-to-haves:
Strong skills in designing/implementing dynamic Row Level Security (25% weighting).
Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating data pipelines (25% weighting).
Solid experience with Power Automate (25% weighting).
Experience creating custom visualizations with Vega Lite (Deneb) (25% weighting).
