Description
A company is looking for an external consultant to support the implementation of the Fuel Emissions Trading Act (BEHG) and the EU-ETS2 regulations in B2B sales. The goal of the project is to integrate the legal requirements into products, processes, and IT systems. The consultant will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to analyze the legal framework, optimize processes, and implement IT adjustments.
- Identify relevant topics based on publicly available legislation
- Review Jira requests with respect to the business unit requirements
- Collect and document requirements from business units and present them for approval
- Conduct professional analyses and create detailed concepts, including user stories
- Hand over final concepts and mockups to developers
- Develop and implement plans for processes, IT changes, and internal service level agreements
- Coordinate IT implementation and testing
- Manage the project workstream and prepare for testing
- Evaluate and verify requirements and transfer them to the backlog
- Prioritize and detail the user stories
- Provide expert advice and status updates in weekly online meetings
- Support the planning and delivery of training for new features and processes
- Create training materials and hand them over to the Product Owner
Requirements
- Knowledge of the energy industry, especially BEHG regulations or gas procurement
- Fluent German or good English skills
- Experience in analyzing and implementing legal requirements
- Expertise in creating concepts and user stories
- Ability to coordinate IT implementations and testing
- Experience in planning and delivering training
- Professional appearance when interacting with external stakeholders
