Description
The client is currently looking for a Data Scientist with excellent communication skills and consulting expertise. It’s about strengthening a central team, a staff unit that delivers solutions and efficiency-boosting measures, adding real value to the business area. The team currently has four members.
The client needs an expert who can cover all aspects of data science—data management, analytics, and reporting—and who can build portals/dashboards (visualizations) for prototypes.
The main task is to build prototypes based on real data. These prototypes support decision-making for further implementation. Later implementation/operationalization is not part of this role.
The candidate must quickly find creative solutions for a use case and present them in the best visual form.
The team uses Power BI, Azure Cloud, and Databricks. Python is the programming language. Coding will be a major part of the daily work.
Requirements
- Solid technical IT education (university or college degree)
- Several years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence (preferably Python, SQL, and Power BI)
- Deep know-how of business intelligence and data warehouse/lake (preferably Data Vault)
- Experience with ETL/ELT platforms and data integration processes (preferably SQL, Python)
- Basic analytical skills (preferably Python, R, SAS)
