A company is looking for an experienced expert in Veritas InfoScale / VCS (formerly Veritas Cluster Server), especially focused on Storage Foundation HA. The project aims to support the installation, expansion, and configuration of high-availability clusters and ensure smooth operation.
The role involves working with cluster components like LLT, GAB, HAD, CVM (Cluster Volume Manager), and CFS (Cluster File System). A structured approach to documentation and knowledge transfer is also expected.
- Install, expand, and configure HA clusters, ideally on Linux (RHEL / SLES).
- Analyze and optimize cluster components (LLT, GAB, HAD, CVM, CFS).
- Ensure the high availability and performance of the systems.
- Create structured documentation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with Veritas InfoScale / VCS, especially Storage Foundation HA.
- Proven track record in installing, expanding, and configuring HA clusters.
- Deep understanding of cluster components: LLT, GAB, HAD, CVM, CFS.
- Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL / SLES).
- Ability to document in a structured way and transfer knowledge.
