Description
- Test management
- Creation of test plans
- Monitoring progress
- Continuous improvement of test approaches, strategies, execution, monitoring, environment management, etc.
- Ensuring compliant testing according to MR testing guidelines (MR Essentials)
- Preparation of required deliverables (test evaluation report, test strategy document, etc.)
- Staying up to date with MR best practices
- Defect tracking and management
- Leading defect management meetings where severity/priority of defects and current test progress are discussed with business and IT stakeholders
- Prioritizing and sprint assignment of bugs
- Tracking and ensuring retesting of fixes (especially during regression testing phase)
- Close collaboration with the release manager and business departments regarding staging and retests in staging environments (DES, ACC, ...) and release notes
- Close collaboration with business departments, especially during the stabilization phase (troubleshooting, etc.)
- Diving into application and defect details
Requirements
- Hands-on mindset
- Extensive experience in developing test approaches/strategies for complex projects & close collaboration with the business
- Self-driven work style and willingness to gather needed information and guidelines from stakeholders outside the project
- Willingness to dive into the application (MAEX) and related data flows (DEM, TPSI, etc.) as well as defect details (no ivory-tower attitude)
- Parametrizing, starting and evaluating TAF runs (or successor solution)
- Starting test runs via Azure DevOps pipelines
- Strong communication and management skills
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience in test automation - ideally Cypress
- Seniority level: Senior
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Language: English (must have) and German
