Description
A company is looking for an experienced Head of Electronic Development to take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of a hardware and software development team. The goal of the project is to ensure the quality of technical work products, plan and carry out strategic pre-developments, and optimize existing processes and systems.
The role includes working in agile project management, cost calculation and proposal creation, as well as team and capacity planning. The candidate will be responsible for the technical development of team members and will communicate closely with customers and suppliers.
Main tasks:
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of a HW+SW development team
- Participation in agile project management, cost estimation and proposal creation, team and capacity planning
- Technical development of team members
- Responsibility for the quality of formal and technical work products
- Calculation and pricing of products, especially PCBA
- Planning and execution of strategic pre-developments
- Communication with customers and suppliers
- Optimization of existing processes and systems
Requirements
- Completed technical degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related fields, or technician with several years of experience
- Several years of professional experience in system, software or hardware development with in-depth knowledge
- Solid knowledge in systems engineering
- Very good knowledge in agile project management using Scrum
- Experience with development processes according to the V-Model, e.g. Automotive SPICE
- Confident use of ALM tools such as Polarion, JIRA
- Several years of leadership experience
- Desirable: experience in functional safety such as ISO 26262 or similar standards
- Very good English skills (Level B2)
