Manager Global Business Travel & Visitor Management (& Project Lead)
WOCO Industrietechnik GmbH
Global functional responsibility for Business Travel and Visitor Management, as well as management of central services (communications center, company catering); budget responsibility of approx. 1.3 million €. Development, standardization and digitalization of administrative processes in an international automotive production environment. Conceptualization and management of cross-functional transformation and digitalization projects; development of standards, governance structures and processes at the interfaces between management, HR, Finance, IT, Purchasing and operational units. Management of international stakeholders and external service providers. Training coordinator.
Selected projects:
2023–2025 | Global rollout of travel management system (Booking & Expense) – Global Project Lead Harmonization of global Travel & Expense processes (end-to-end), introduction of a globally standardized booking and expense system, design of policies, role models and governance, and automation of Finance interfaces. Result: globally standardized process landscape, greater transparency and compliance, faster expense processing and a lower error rate. Implementation at around 30% of the originally estimated cost.
2023–2025 | Global digital visitor management – Global Project Lead Conceptualization and global implementation of digital visitor management with QR self-check-in in Europe, Asia and North America; customization in cooperation with the software provider and expansion to service provider, truck and customs/ID processes. Result: standardized and TISAX-compliant visitor management, reduced administrative effort and improved traceability. Implementation for approx. 5,000 € per country; further development of the solution into visitor management fully integrated with Microsoft 365.
2021–2024 | Construction and outfitting of company cafeteria – Overall Project Lead Responsibility for conceptualization, planning and tendering through the selection and management of external service providers and contractors to the construction, outfitting and organizational phases. On-time realization of a modern company catering facility with a project budget of around 700,000 €. I find this considerably more impactful for the search for a mandate than a traditional CV text. The figures are particularly important. 30% of the originally estimated cost, approx. 5,000 € per country and a project budget of 700,000 € are memorable. They also show something that fits excellently with our staff-function positioning: You can not only discuss organizational development, but have demonstrably designed concepts, managed providers, implemented solutions and been responsible for budgets.
