UX Design Experts in Cologne

I won the "serious games funding" from the state of NRW in Germany at the end of 2023 for my game Blueberry. This gave me the chance to put together an international team of freelancers for programming, art, animation and audio. I developed the complete UI and UX as well as level and narrative design for the game, implementing the UI in Unity in close collaboration with my programmer. Blueberry will be released on Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Switch on 28th May 2026.

Concept and design of corporate websites, shops, landing pages, app and interface concepts, as well as complex design systems – from strategy, information architecture, mobile-first approaches, and UX/UI design to Figma prototyping, content structure, SEO-relevant content, and image concepts, all the way to implementation (in WordPress) and maintenance.

• Managed pilot operation with initial external client (Dormagen medical practice): structured requirement gathering, test support, error analysis, and release management

• UI design of the Penny mobile app and ongoing maintenance of the company-wide design system — carried out with a senior UI designer from the Artyspark team.

Self-Initiated Concept Case Study (7 Desktop Screens & 2 Mobile Viewports)

• UX Architecture & Logic: Designed a clean and minimalist e-commerce catalog experience from scratch. Focused on creating an intuitive layout where users can easily browse products, utilizing structured filtering ("Filter by") and sorting systems to ensure a frictionless shopping journey.
• Technical Figma Architecture: Engineered a responsive layout utilizing a strict 12-column grid system, fluid Constraints (Left & Right for the header, Center for the catalog), and Auto Layout to ensure perfect adaptive scaling across desktop viewports and clean developer handoff.
• Conversion Optimization: Implemented high-converting UI elements, including a seamless "Quick Add" hover feature on product cards and a dynamic slide-out cart overlay to minimize checkout steps and improve user engagement.
