The Challenge With only two weeks remaining before the launch of their first satellite, Constellr urgently required a professional visual identity and a restructured, investor-focused web presence. The existing website did not meet the expectations of investors and potential clients who would be flooding the site following the launch. The extremely tight timeframe made the complete redesign and go-live of the website a critical high-stakes challenge.
The Approach I led an intensive project sprint focused on developing a new visual language that was both professional and future-oriented. My process included re-architecting the Information Architecture (IA), crafting the UX writing, and creating a set of custom icons. I produced bespoke 3D renderings of the satellites and developed animations (including Lottie files) to dynamically showcase the potential use cases for satellite data. Tight coordination with the development team ensured a seamless transition and a punctual launch.
The Impact The project resulted in a modern, sleek, and focused website that effectively repositioned the Constellr brand. By combining engaging animations with custom graphics that highlighted Constellr’s products and services, we successfully created a professional platform. The new site sends the right signals to investors, customers, and the public, perfectly underscoring the company’s innovative work in the space sector.
