Description
- Creation/design and ongoing modernization of the technical solution architecture for new and existing systems, including defining and evolving non-functional requirements (NFR)
- Close collaboration with architecture leads (software/component architecture) in agile development teams
- Advising implementation teams on technology, design standards, tools, and documentation.
- Leading technical teams and requesting and contributing to the design and implementation of proofs of concept or prototypes
- Monitoring the market, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring the future-proofing of the architecture
- Assessing applications/components and planning improvements/refactorings
- Establishing and optimizing development guidelines, including quality assurance and documentation standards, architectural guidelines, and measuring and enforcing compliance
- Contributing to cost and effort estimates together with project or implementation leads
Requirements
- You have many years of professional experience as a solution, software, or enterprise architect or in a similar role. A degree in IT or equivalent training is a plus.
- Ideally, you hold a certification in software architecture (e.g., ISAQB, TOGAF, etc.)
- You have experience with agile software development across multiple teams and have set up and operated continuous integration/delivery/deployment.
- You are familiar with highly scaled solutions in public cloud as well as hybrid cloud environments.
- You have experience refactoring existing software solutions.
- You have used these methods/toolsets: Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, UML, architecture design tools.
- You are familiar with most of these technologies: Java, microservices, REST, event-based architecture, Spring Boot 2, Angular 8+
- Excellent communication skills, high self-motivation, very good German and good English skills, strong social skills, confident demeanor, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
