Description
A leading company in software development is looking for an experienced Requirements Engineer for highly complex software projects in a corporate environment. In this key role, you will be responsible for the entire requirements management process, from gathering customer requirements to defining technical solutions.
Key Tasks:
- Capturing, analyzing, and documenting customer requirements
- Developing and maintaining requirement specifications
- Conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops for requirements gathering
- Creating use cases, user stories, and functional specifications
- Close collaboration with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Quality assurance and validation of requirements
- Supporting the prioritization of requirements and planning product roadmaps
- Ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the development process
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, media informatics, information design, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst, preferably in complex software projects
- Solid knowledge of requirements management methods and tools (e.g. IREB, UML, BPMN)
- Experience with agile and traditional development methods
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Team player with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Familiarity with software development, either through studies or conceptual projects
- Passion for the software development process and the ability to think beyond the screen
- A diverse skill set beyond technical skills: conceptual analysis, communication, prioritization, organization, and motivation
- Enjoyment in developing innovative service offerings
- Willingness to support the team as a creator, mentor, or coach
