Summary

I have been self-employed as a consultant and interim manager since 2014, focusing on international strategic procurement and supply chain management. In this role, I have also been conducting in-house and IHK training courses since 2014. Since 2017, I have been a lecturer at Mainz University of Applied Sciences and in the winter semester 2021/2022 I additionally served as a visiting professor. Previously, I spent 12 years as a Senior Strategic Sourcer at Deutsche Telekom Group, responsible for international procurement projects in the network area. Before that, I spent 6 years in strategic procurement at the Hoechst Group, most recently as a Category Manager. My main areas of work include developing and implementing procurement strategies, supplier and contract management, cost optimization, and introducing digital procurement solutions. In addition, I bring many years of experience in interim management and consulting on procurement and supply chain projects. By combining hands-on project experience with my teaching at university and IHK level, I can support both implementation and knowledge transfer. I have gained international experience through global sourcing projects and collaboration with international suppliers. For about two years, I have been using AI-supported methods to analyze procurement data and develop optimization approaches.
