Summary
Since 2014, I have been self-employed as a consultant and interim manager, focusing on international strategic procurement and supply chain management. In this role, I have also conducted in-house and IHK training programs since 2014. Since 2017, I have been a lecturer at Hochschule Mainz and additionally worked as a substitute professor in the winter semester 2021/2022.Before that, I worked for 12 years as a Senior Strategic Sourcer at Deutsche Telekom Group, with responsibility for international procurement projects in the network area. Prior to that, I spent 6 years in strategic procurement at the Hoechst Group, most recently as a Category Manager.My main areas of expertise are the development and implementation of procurement strategies, supplier and contract management, cost optimization, and the introduction of digital procurement solutions. In addition, I bring many years of experience in interim management and consulting on procurement and supply chain projects.The combination of operational project experience and my teaching activities at university and IHK level allows me to support both implementation and knowledge transfer. I gained international experience through global sourcing projects and cooperation with international suppliers. For about two years, I have been using AI-supported methods to analyze procurement data and develop optimization approaches.
