Basically, I am an old-school consultant and I try to solve problems sustainably – if a client doesn’t call me back about the same problem, I’ve done my job well. From this approach, my assignments are often extended and expanded beyond the original project goal to achieve a lasting and permanent change.

For this, I work according to the first-principles approach and try to find the root cause of a problem. Together with the client, I then develop solution concepts, supporting their implementation on an equal footing: wherever possible, I work integrated into the affected departments and with the ultimately impacted employees.

Given today’s intertwining of IT with all business concerns, I involve all stakeholders from management and controlling to compliance and data protection to UI/UX and customers. I understand the very different requirements and needs of all stakeholders to translate and manage them for the others.

My current main areas outside of development are process consulting, software and system architecture, as well as web and cloud technologies.
