In principle, I am an old-school consultant and try to solve problems in a lasting way – if a customer no longer calls me about the same problem, I have done my job well. Based on this approach, my assignments are often expanded and extended beyond the original project goal in order to achieve a lasting and permanent change.

To do this, I work with a first-principles approach and try to find the root cause of a problem. Together with the customer, I then develop solution concepts, and I support their implementation as an equal partner: wherever possible, I work directly with the affected departments and the employees ultimately impacted.

Because IT is now closely tied to all areas of a business, I include all stakeholders, from management and controlling to compliance and data protection, as well as UI/UX and customers. I understand the very different requirements and needs of all stakeholders and translate and manage them for the others.

My current focus areas outside development are process consulting, software and system architecture, as well as web and cloud technologies.
