Description
Your tasks:
- Safety responsibility in the development process (Functional Safety Engineering / Functional Safety Management)
- Analysis and verification of system requirements and system interface definitions
- Requirements engineering throughout the development process
- Verification and confirmation reviews across the entire safety lifecycle
- Coordination and alignment of work with specialist departments and external contacts
- Conducting requirements workshops, G&R, FTA, FMEA and FMECA
- Supporting system development through to market launch/approval
Requirements
- Degree in engineering (industrial engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or similar) or computer science
- Professional experience in functional safety, SOTIF, high voltage or cybersecurity in the automotive sector required
- Ability to analyze complex technical systems and interrelationships
- Confident handling of process-related documentation and evidence
- Interest in safety-critical functions in aviation, space, railway technology or automotive
- Process knowledge according to IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO/SAE 21434, EN 50126 or comparable standards
- Programming skills and experience with low-level test environments are a plus
- Good communication skills
- Very good German skills (min. C1) and English skills (min. B2)
