Description
- Operation, hardening, and automation of the OKD/Kubernetes platform (rook-ceph storage)
- GitOps delivery with Kustomize, GitLab CI, and Renovate
- Operation of the Kafka platform (Strimzi, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, Oracle source connector)
- Securing via Keycloak, X509 service accounts, SASL/mTLS, Sealed Secrets, cert-manager
- Hardening container security (Trivy, Dependency-Track, DHI, VEX)
- Building observability (Prometheus, Grafana, PodMonitor, alerting) and operating PostgreSQL via CNPG
- IaC automation (Terraform/Crossplane) and enablement of the dev teams
Requirements
- Several years of experience operating Kubernetes/OpenShift (OKD), ideally multiple clusters per stage
- Strong GitOps experience (Kustomize overlays, GitLab CI, Renovate)
- Experience with Apache Kafka via Strimzi (Kafka Connect, Schema Registry/Apicurio)
- Knowledge of Identity & Security: Keycloak (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT/JWKS), SASL/mTLS, Sealed Secrets, cert-manager
- Experience with container security (Trivy, Dependency-Track, DHI, VEX) and internal registry
- IaC knowledge (Terraform/Crossplane) as well as observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Basic knowledge of Java 21 (Quarkus) and Python is an advantage
