Summary

I have been very interested in computer science since childhood. Back then, probably like every child, mainly through computer games, but it was already possible to assume that this interest would also shape my professional career. Old classics such as Sim-City, Transport Tycoon and building and strategy games in general still influence me today.

At the age of 20, I became self-employed and programmed websites for businesses in and around Kitzbühel, as well as for clients such as Buena Vista and Disney in Munich. After a few years, I decided to create my own internet platform for Kitzbühel and publish a print magazine alongside it. In addition, I was responsible for the complete IT and marketing of the Austrian Open for many years. My core skills in marketing, design, photography and editorial work also come from this period.

By the time I was 30, I had already completed countless IT projects, listing them all would go beyond the scope of a CV, and produced more than 5000 pages of editorial content.

My studies always took place alongside my work and had more of a secondary role. Nevertheless, it was very important to me to complete two postgraduate master's degrees in an international environment.

Over time, the projects became larger and more complex, and my work increasingly shifted towards project management and product ownership. In my early 30s, this was followed by numerous online stores, including merchandise management and billing systems with various ERP systems.

A friend then introduced me to the international world of IT consulting. This was followed by projects at large corporations such as Allianz, Deutsche Bahn, Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Apcoa Parking and Fenix. In recent years, I have developed my expertise particularly in the area of Domain Driven Design, and I like to use Event Storming as a methodology for requirements analysis. I now prefer to write user stories using a test-driven approach.
