Florian Engel

Currently, I am leading a transformation and digitization project in direct collaboration with Microsoft and contributing to a project at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). This work is very fulfilling for me and marks a new highlight in my career. My interest in a new challenge is strategic and tied to significant development, so I am choosing my next step carefully.

My experience with agile scaling frameworks like SAFe, which I applied at VW, highlights my methodological expertise. My greatest strength, however, is the ability to see the big picture and accurately identify the key areas for action. This strategic approach is the foundation of my success, whether as an IT manager or as a business analyst.

What motivates me as a leader: After many years of supporting global change processes alongside experienced IT executives, I now want to inspire a team myself and show them the potential we can unlock together.

To me, the roles of business analyst, consultant and IT manager are not separate disciplines but logical stages on the path to excellent leadership.

My leadership approach is based on the belief that outstanding results come from teams in which each individual can use their strengths to the fullest. I have a deep understanding of the different profiles of IT professionals and know how to create an environment in which they work happily and highly productively.

My holistic analysis skills allow me to look beyond IT and integrate various business perspectives. It is precisely this interface and transformation expertise, combined with a broad technological overview, that is crucial for success today.

My previous successes in complex projects are measurable and show that my approach of combining strategic foresight with operational excellence brings significant improvements. Partners and colleagues value my ability to balance visionary initiatives with pragmatic needs and to take the lead in critical situations to drive projects safely to their goals.
