Role operated under the internal title "Engagement Manager"; scope and deliverables were product- and ops-focused, detailed below.

  • Owned end-to-end delivery of internal workflow and system-integration initiatives across EU, MENA and APAC teams operating on different schedules and in different languages, coordinating primarily asynchronously through documentation, dashboards and structured written updates rather than live meetings.
  • Webinar and presentation leadership: conceived, scripted, recorded, edited and delivered the first EU EDI ASN Webinar for external vendors, covering EDIFACT ASN creation, common defects and compliance requirements. Managed the full production lifecycle across 50+ slides and multiple iterations, SME review, legal approval, vendor invitations and post-event surveys, achieving 69% attendance conversion with 647 unique attendees, setting the benchmark format for all subsequent sessions.
  • Built out a wider portfolio of vendor and internal training content, including WW Adoption Videos explaining EDI/API integration support processes for internal teams, an API Mini Training session for colleagues, a 3P Seller presentation, and live vendor pitch calls for EU Sports Vendors. Now own an ongoing webinar programme spanning EU EDIFACT, NA X12, APERAK and ordering automation.
  • Vendor-facing product education at scale: built external education materials that drove vendor adoption, including an FAQ document compiling vendor objections with responses to influence integration decisions, "Advantages of Automation" one-pagers for DF vendors using QuickSight analytics, and metrics-led pitch materials showcasing automation benefits over manual processes. Also ran proactive 2023 Outlook vendor outreach (cold-calling and email) to build the integration pipeline.
  • Led high-stakes, vendor-specific integration projects and outreach, including a hybrid EDI/API integration for Fossil involving investigation of EDI invoice and API label issues with cross-stakeholder troubleshooting and escalation; a large retail integration for 3M delivered under a two-week deadline (extended by one week) for a demanding vendor; Adidas Retail, my first Retail project, covering 9 vendor codes across Pan-EU and requiring understanding of the differences between Retail and DF; and outreach to vendors across EU and FE markets with expiring API (LWA) credentials to coordinate rotation and maintain uninterrupted access.
  • Diagnosed recurring failure patterns in API/EDI system behaviour; partnered directly with engineering to redesign the underlying workflows, reducing defects and the amount of manual intervention required to keep integrations running.
  • Identified and categorised hallucination patterns in an internal LLM's outputs, working with engineering to adjust prompting and evaluation approaches, directly improving output accuracy and reliability for downstream users.
  • Used operational dashboards and defect analytics (QuickSight) as the primary diagnostic tool for root-causing issues, turning raw usage/defect data into prioritised, evidence-backed fixes to vendor workflows and internal tooling.
  • SpecBuilder documentation and EDI content standards: resolved EDI content issues, implemented FTX020 code changes and clarified PO101/PO107 usage across EDI messages, and maintained the associated Mapping Guide, FAQs, Integration Guide and example files.
  • Authored the documentation layer, including SOPs, runbooks and training content, that let globally distributed teams understand and operate complex systems without needing synchronous walkthroughs.
  • Acted as the connective layer between product, engineering and operations across multiple regions: clarifying requirements, resolving ambiguity, and keeping distributed teams aligned on a shared roadmap without requiring overlapping working hours.

Summary

Product manager who specialises in the internal-facing side of product work: diagnosing why systems, workflows and AI-generated outputs behave the way they do, then fixing the process, not just the symptom. I've spent the last four years operating as a de facto internal-tools and workflow-automation PM inside a large, globally distributed organisation: reducing manual intervention in API/EDI integrations, improving the reliability of an internal LLM, and building the documentation that lets cross-timezone teams operate without needing me in the room. More recently I've taken ownership of external vendor education, scripting, recording and presenting a webinar and training programme that has reached 647 unique attendees, alongside leading high-stakes vendor integration projects end to end. Comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems asynchronously and turning them into clear, adopted solutions.

Education

Jan 2016 - Aug 2018

University of Ulster

MSc · International Business · London, United Kingdom · 2:1

Studied international business strategy, e-business, and global finance, with a focus on how organizations scale across borders. Developed strong analytical and research skills, alongside practical experience in cross-cultural management and business simulation.

This background provides the commercial and strategic context that underpins my product management work today, particularly in managing cross-regional workflows and understanding how technical systems drive business value.

Sep 2011 - Jan 2016

University of Kent

BSc · Physics · Canterbury, United Kingdom

Developed a rigorous, mathematics-heavy foundation in analytical problem solving, data analysis, and complex systems behavior.

Studying physics required breaking down highly technical, abstract concepts and communicating them clearly. This trained the exact analytical mindset I use today as a Product Manager: diagnosing why complex technical systems (like API/EDI integrations) fail, and methodically engineering fixes.
