After studying mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart and Technical University of Darmstadt, I started my professional career in the AIRBUS Group Munich (formerly MBB / DASA / EADS) as a development engineer in the advanced design office of military aircraft in 1986 until my last position, senior manager in the space division. During this time I also worked for the Eurofighter Consortium as production manager with major contributions to the implementation of series production of this important European Fighter Aircraft Program.

During my 19-year professional career in the AIRBUS Group, I also dealt with the development, production and project management of international projects and cooperations in the aerospace industry as a successful integrator and entrepreneur.

Due to the globalization and internationalization of the aerospace markets and the need of excellent consulting services, I founded in 2004 the Koc Consulting companies in Munich and Ankara.

In partnership with Mr. Iren Dornier, grandson of the famous aircraft manufacturer Claude Dornier and the "TAA - Turkish Aeronautical Association", I founded the first Turkish sport and training aircraft company in Ankara Etimesgut Airport in 2012. In March 2017 we successfully received the German type certification of the 2-seater aircraft Speedfire T19A.

In 2018 I worked as managing director and accountable manager for the aircraft company Aquila Aviation International GmbH and the aircraft maintenance company FSB Aircraft Maintenance GmbH in Schönhagen near Berlin. Here I optimized and improved the production of the aircraft and created the basis and project planning for a new aircraft, which is in development now.

Since January 2019 I am consulting international aerospace & defense companies in project management, design, development and production of new projects, certifications, market entry, acquisition, M&A, business development and international cooperations.

In 2021 I was responsible as Senior Program Manager for the development and production of Laser Communication Systems for the Aerospace & Defence Markets at Mynaric Laser Communication AG in Munich.

Since 2022 I am responsible for Space & Defence Projects with NASA, ESA & National Agencies, Thales as Head of Special Projects at HPS GmbH in Munich
