Summary
With more than 20 years of experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and over 12 years specializing in IBM Maximo, I have developed a strong combination of functional, technical, architectural, and project management expertise.
Throughout my career, I have worked across the full EAM solution lifecycle — from business analysis and requirements management through solution architecture, Maximo configuration and customization, integrations, implementation, and ongoing support. My experience includes translating complex business requirements into practical Maximo solutions while ensuring integration with the wider enterprise IT landscape.
I started my career in Latvia working with leading EAM platforms, which gave me a broad understanding of the EAM software market, its capabilities, and different approaches to asset management. I subsequently worked internationally, including responsibility for the IBM Maximo asset management business across Eurasia, supporting major customers across multicultural and diverse environments. This provided extensive experience in customer engagement, solution consulting, partner support, and delivering Maximo-based solutions for complex organizations.
For the past six years, I have been leading a multimillion-euro asset management digitalization program at a gas distribution company. The program is centered around IBM Maximo and involves connecting business processes and requirements with Maximo capabilities while integrating the platform into the existing enterprise IT environment, including GIS, CRM, ERP, and other systems. My responsibilities cover both the business and technical layers, including EAM strategy, solution architecture, Maximo functional and technical decisions, integrations, procurement and tender processes, team management, vendor coordination, project delivery, and budget control.
My key strength is the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements, EAM processes, and IBM Maximo technology. I am comfortable working with business stakeholders, IT teams, architects, developers, vendors, and senior management, and I can operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.
