Description
We are looking for an experienced consultant to support the project for implementing SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (SAP RAR) for revenue recognition under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from an accounting perspective. The background is replacing the tool currently in use. The project will run for one year from 01/2025 until the go-live in 01/2026. The goal is to complete the replacement at the start of the fiscal year on 01/01/2026. The purpose of this mandate is to refine the existing high-level requirements in fit-to-standard workshops with SAP as the software provider and implementation partner. During the project, the following work packages will be delivered:
- Define the business use cases and translate them into sample calculations and test cases
- Support implementation to clarify business questions
- Develop the test concept, taking into account input from other project stakeholders
- Execute and document functional tests based on the previously defined test cases
- Document project results in Confluence and other documents for the commissioning department and train the future system users.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced consultant who can advise on the accounting side regarding IFRS 15 and the technical transition.
- You have already supported IFRS implementation projects.
- Ideally, you have experience implementing SAP RAR.
- Fluent German and good English skills, especially in writing, are required.
- The project language is German. Documents, documentation, and correspondence will be partially in English.
- You also need strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
