Project management, typesetting, final artwork, creation of language versions
Regiolux GmbH
For Regiolux GmbH, I produced several brochures and an information sheet in seven different languages as part of this project. To make the offset printing especially efficient and cost-effective, I created all language versions in Adobe InDesign on separate layers. This meant that the different versions could be produced simply by replacing the black printing plate – a simple but effective solution.
In addition to implementation according to the corporate design, my tasks included final artwork and the creation of web and print PDFs. I also coordinated communication with translation agencies and printers, ensuring a smooth project process.
Complete graphic implementation
BPA Medizin Verlag
For the scientific magazine series Causamedic®, I handle the complete graphic implementation – everything from a single source: from design, layout and typesetting through image research and image editing to the design of charts and tables.
This gives BPA Medizin Verlag a well-thought-out, high-quality overall package: a specialist magazine that is convincing in every respect, both in terms of content and design.
Final artwork
Keller und Lieder / Mein Grundeinkommen e.V.
Based on binding corporate design specifications, I handled the final artwork for the brochure „Pilotprojekt Grundeinkommen“. My tasks included typographic refinement, image editing, color management and final coordination with the client. Finally, I created a print-ready PDF in the CMYK color space as well as an optimized PDF web version.
Creation of accessible PDFs from InDesign
beyond.ag, Diakonie, Universität Mainz and many others
I help you make your digital publications legally compliant and accessible. I create accessible PDFs from your InDesign files according to the PDF/UA‑standard. I ensure a correct tag structure, check the reading order, verify the links, create bookmarks and add the alternative text provided for images – for legal certainty and true accessibility.
Websites with a system (web design and programming)
Freiberufler und kleine Unternehmen
I do not offer a template-based solution, but an individually developed website that perfectly coordinates design, functionality and performance and is specifically tailored to your project. My solutions have lean code, clear design and are customized to your content and target groups.
Instead of complex CMS systems, I rely on lean solutions such as Kirby CMS, combined with a low-maintenance structure and hand-written code. My websites load quickly, are tailored to your requirements and create the foundation for strong performance and better rankings.
EPUB creation
Brot für die Welt, Universität Hamburg and others
To turn content into professional eBooks, you need a clear structure and a deep understanding of media-specific preparation. I manually and losslessly convert your manuscripts and print templates into reflowable EPUBs.
My customized preparation offers clear advantages over automated conversion. The tailored conversion delivers more reliable results than automated tools and guarantees a smooth reading experience on all common readers and devices.
