• A digital system made up of special software and hardware components. The overall system replaces the traditional process with job slips and handwritten notes and enables more efficient order intake. Orders and work steps for the violin-making company’s projects can now be recorded, processed and logged in real time directly on the workshop’s touchscreen PC, by mobile phone or on the desktop. This gives customers a more transparent view of the work on their instruments and allows them to track the status and progress of their instrument through their customer account.

AI Platform Backend – Senior Developer

Brought in to design and build a backend for an AI platform from scratch, including multi-provider LLM orchestration and real-time infrastructure for AI influencer personas at scale.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Architecture and implementation of a multi-LLM orchestration layer with Semantic Kernel to integrate GPT-4 and other providers for core platform logic and AI influencer personas, reducing model-switching overhead by abstracting provider APIs behind a single interface.
• Design and development of a backend from scratch in C# / .NET 10, including domain modeling with DDD, a versioned RESTful API layer, and cloud infrastructure setup on Azure.
• Built a real-time chat infrastructure with Server-Sent Events (SSE), message persistence, and delivery guarantees for live operation of AI influencer personas at scale.
• Developed a media management service with integration of cloud object storage for upload and retrieval of influencer-generated content.
• Created an integration and unit test suite with data seeding for reliable regression testing across all core platform flows, significantly reducing production error rates.

• Built an MCP (Model Context Protocol) layer for Mwanachama's agency service, turning domain manager methods into callable AI-agent tools. This included a composite tool that builds a full organization design (org chart, goals, workflows, RACI matrix) from one specification.
• Built the chat-driven agency builder (Wakala Studio and API), where an organization describes its structure in natural language and an AI agent uses those tools to construct and modify the live design.
• Added an insights service so an organization can review AI-agent interactions and completed work. Insights from that review feed back into solution design, gated by architect and user sign-off.
• Alongside this, designed and built the platform itself: ~20 Go microservices on PostgreSQL, Flutter and React clients, deployed on Kubernetes.
• AI agents scan the platform autonomously for security gaps and run scripted tests, covering API (Postman-style) and UI testing. The rest of the work stays supervised. No rogue agents, promise.
