Description
A company is seeking an experienced Software Developer to optimize and enhance its documentation infrastructure. The primary focus will be on managing large amounts of data and preparing them in MkDocs for improved accessibility. The role involves configuring online customer documentation, migrating existing documentation, and creating a documentation pipeline.
Key responsibilities:
- Configuration of an online customer documentation in MkDocs
- Migration of existing documentation
- Creation of a documentation pipeline
- Implement specific requirements by configuring the YAML file
- Select and use suitable plugins to meet specific requirements
- Create publication structures from database extracts using Python scripts
- Further develop an existing converter for html -> md
- Collaborate with the internal base infrastructure team (MS Azure)
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of “Material for MkDocs” / “MkDocs”, especially with large projects
- Proficiency in writing/publishing in Markdown
- Experience working in a team using Git and scripting languages
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
- Bash scripting expertise
- Understanding of working principles of editorial systems, e.g., Cosima Go, ST4
