Description
A company is looking for an experienced construction supervisor or manager in the fiber optic environment to professionally support and oversee the construction services of a general contractor in the FTTH broadband expansion. The goal is to ensure that the construction services meet the specifications of the execution planning and that the FTTH broadband network is fully built out. The construction sites are near Würzburg and Saarbrücken.
The role includes monitoring compliance with schedules, safety regulations and the quality of construction services, as well as coordinating and documenting construction activities. The construction manager will independently create a site diary and a complete documentation, track subcontracted services and verify the correctness of planning and construction documents.
- Professional support and supervision of a general contractor’s construction services in FTTH broadband expansion.
- Ensuring compliance with schedules, safety regulations and quality of construction services.
- Recording and reviewing planning and construction documents from subcontractors.
- Independently creating a site diary and complete documentation.
- Tracking, controlling and documenting ordered services and deliveries.
- Site supervision and safety checks of the construction site according to the HSE concept.
Requirements
- Relevant project experience in construction management of FTTX projects.
- 5-6 years of field experience in civil engineering.
- Experience in reviewing planning documents.
- Experience in quantity survey.
- Nice to have: splicing experience.
