Summary
I have been working in software specification and development for around 15 years, as a technical project manager, lead developer and system architect in agile teams. My project portfolio includes banking, public authorities, wholesale, healthcare, automotive and telecommunications. Part of my work is analyzing business requirements, contributing to the creation of requirements documents (e.g. user stories), designing the related data model and interface architecture, and carrying out the implementation according to current IT standards in agile working models.
In this context, I design or extend microservices cloud architectures as well as full-stack applications in modern IT systems using JEE, Springboot and Micronaut frameworks, with SQL or NoSQL databases and REST interfaces or asynchronous event-driven models based on message queues such as ActiveMQ, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
I usually work with in-house or nearshore teams of around 5 – 10 people, including specialized frontend and backend developers. I often take on a coordinating and managing role, create detailed specifications, and track progress and conduct code reviews based on the agreed acceptance criteria. My development focus in Java and Kotlin is the backend, but I also develop in the frontend (especially React).
I also have a strong background in test automation and test-driven development, as well as setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab/Bitbucket with Docker and Ansible.
I am communicative, quickly familiarize myself with new fields and have an autonomous and methodical approach. I am also used to developing and coordinating constructive solutions with all stakeholders in complex or conflict-ridden situations.
