My consulting career began as an employee at the Plaut consulting firm in Ismaning, known for its CO concepts in flexible planning cost accounting. There, as a beginner, I was first responsible for creating and implementing authorization concepts in R/3.

I left the authorization area to focus fully on controlling. Since early 1997 I have been working as a self-employed management consultant. In controlling, I now cover the entire process from design to implementation and staff training for all CO modules.

In addition, I regularly run training sessions on asset accounting and investment management, including the new asset accounting, the new general ledger, reporting, and project management.

Since I cover the complete CO area both functionally and technically in SAP, and since new projects naturally become less frequent, I prefer to work in project audits and as a firefighter when quick analyses and yet correct and integrated solutions are needed. I also often work in parallel valuation when result reports under multiple accounting standards are required.
