This is my philosophy, and these are the words my previous clients use to describe me. When you work with me, you will soon notice that it is important to me to listen to the people I work with and find the best approach for the company, the situation and the people involved.
Many suppliers and employees first meet me in unpleasant, conflict-ridden situations. Not the best conditions for a relaxed, positive start. Yet after a short time, they tell me that my open, diplomatic and humorous way of working helps ease the difficult situation.
My extensive experience comes primarily from procurement and supply chain management. I also bring valuable knowledge of finance and most recently worked as a finance manager. Thanks to my highly analytical thinking and solid IT skills, I can quickly understand processes. These abilities were strengthened by my studies in Supply Chain Management, which consisted of almost 60% IT-related subjects, and by my extensive professional experience with different ERP systems. The focus was often on SAP, for example in my role as “Business Process Lead” for the procurement process.
It is especially important to me to always keep the entire process in view. I also worked as a project manager on several projects to implement database and analytics tools. These assignments strengthened my sensitivity and pragmatic approach to the balance between “customer requirements and technical implementation” and round out my diverse profile.
My approach: I reach the goal with plenty of structure and humor.
Many people see me as a very calm and composed person. My approach is based on the principle: listen carefully, then analyze, and only then comment.
It may not be a typical approach. However, my well-grounded arguments and quick understanding help me achieve good results in negotiations, as many managers and clients have confirmed.
Because I also find pragmatic solutions in stressful and time-critical situations, my fellow students jokingly gave me the title “Flexibility Officer”.
