A company is looking for an experienced auditor to plan and carry out audits in the field of sustainable events. The main task is to assess the ISO 20121 compliance of well-known clients from the event sector. The focus of the audits is on clients in Germany. The role requires close collaboration with product management, certification body, sales, and customer support to ensure compliance with sustainability standards.

Main tasks:

Planning and carrying out audits in the field of sustainable events.
Assessing ISO 20121 compliance of clients in the event sector.
Supporting clients in Germany with a focus on sustainability standards.
Working closely with product management, certification body, sales, and customer support.

Requirements

Completed degree or equivalent professional training in sustainability and/or event management
Several years of professional experience in the relevant audit area
Auditor qualification (w/m/d) for sustainable event management or other management systems with a sustainability focus (e.g., ISO 14001/EMAS, ISO 45001)
Confident presence and presentation skills in German and English
Willingness to travel
