In my current role as an underwriter in the public sector at Versicherungskammer Bayern, I'm responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and underwriting risks in commercial and public property insurance. My tasks include individual risk assessment, creating coverage concepts, and the technical and economic evaluation of new and existing contracts, especially for municipalities, municipal institutions, and public-sector clients.

I work closely with sales teams, brokers, and internal departments, providing expert support in the quotation process and contract drafting. I also guide risk policy decisions and apply my expertise to improve internal processes.

I pay special attention to digitizing and structuring risk assessment. In this context, I push for technical solutions that enable efficient, transparent, and standardized risk evaluations—a field I want to explore further.

In parallel, I'm completing a part-time program to become a technical underwriter for industrial property insurance to strengthen my professional expertise.

Summary

My career started in field sales at DEVK, where I gained over four years of experience advising and supporting private clients. After that, I moved to the internal service, where I played an active role in testing and implementing a new IT system. There, I deepened my understanding of technical processes and further developed my interface skills between the business department and IT.

In 2020, I joined Versicherungskammer Bayern (VKB). I started in the private insurance division and took on responsible roles as a subject matter contact, internal trainer, and training coordinator. I focused on supporting colleagues and improving workflows and training concepts.

I now work in underwriting, focusing on analyzing and evaluating property risks for public-sector clients. I'm particularly interested in developing technical solutions for efficient and transparent risk assessment in commercial and industrial property insurance.

I completed the certified insurance and finance specialist program alongside my work and am currently studying to become a technical underwriter for industrial property insurance.

I bring strong analytical skills, personal responsibility, and a structured, solution-oriented working style—combined with deep professional knowledge, technical affinity, and a high level of team orientation.
