Initial Situation: As part of a SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation, production and logistics processes were to be redesigned and harmonized based on SAP Best Practices. The focus was on modeling integrated end-to-end processes as well as on functional coordination between the PP, MM, SD and QM areas.

Responsibilities & Approach:

• Analysis, modeling and visualization of integrated business processes with SAP Signavio in accordance with BPMN 2.0
• Conducting and facilitating cross-functional workshops to capture, align and optimize business requirements
• Analysis of complex production and logistics processes and derivation of suitable SAP S/4HANA standard solutions
• Design and optimization of integrated end-to-end processes in the areas of production planning, shop floor control and logistics
• Functional coordination and process integration between the SAP modules PP, MM, SD and QM
• Performing SAP PP customizing based on defined business requirements
• Preparation, coordination and execution of integration and acceptance tests (SIT/UAT)
• Conducting data migration workshops and aligning production-relevant master data (bills of material, routings, work centers and production versions)

• Support of key users and departments during the SAP rollout at multiple sites
• Conducting end-user and key-user training in the area of materials management and warehouse management
• Support of 1st- and 2nd-level support in the SAP MM environment
• Consulting on inventory management, materials planning, stock transfer processes and goods movements
• Support of physical inventory and stock processes at various logistics sites
• Close coordination with departments and IT to ensure efficient logistics processes
• Support with operational issues during ongoing SAP operations

• Performing SAP PP customizing in the areas of production orders, routings, bills of material and capacity planning

• Support of production planning and detailed scheduling with the Meistercockpit
• Structuring, maintenance and tracking of test cases in SAP Solution Manager
• Coordination and monitoring of integration and user acceptance tests (UAT)
• Support with reporting, defect tracking and escalation management during the test cycles
