Description
- Creation of specifications and solutions for local German tax requirements as well as project-related control aspects
- Consideration of the Fénix programs and their interfaces to upstream systems and adjacent transformation programs like RAITT, TechFuel, and OnePayroll
- Independent setup of suitable frameworks for testing
- Development of test concepts, relevant test cases, and validation of delivery results within agile working methods
- Test management and coordination of tests
- Management of test activities within the TAX squad as well as cross-functional dependency management
- Comparison of test results with business requirements
- If needed, creation of defects, tracking, and execution and documentation of system acceptance tests
- Management-ready preparation of TAX status
- Preparation of relevant status information for local and global SteerCos
Requirements
Professional Expertise
- Solid knowledge in the field of taxes (especially VAT, tax determination, tax reporting) in the context of digital transformation programs
- Experience in creating and implementing tax-relevant specifications for system adjustments
- Familiar with the requirements of local German tax processes and their mapping in ERP systems
Test Management Skills
- Experience in developing test concepts, test cases, and acceptance criteria for complex, tax-related ERP solutions
- Ability to manage, plan, and execute tests in an agile project environment
- Confident in managing cross-functional test dependencies and coordinating test resources
System & Project Knowledge
- Practical experience in transformation projects focusing on programs like Fénix, RAITT, TechFuel, OnePayroll
- Experience with test management and documentation tools such as JIRA, Xray, Confluence, HP ALM
- Knowledge of integrating tax requirements into SAP S/4HANA and related systems
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Ability to prepare complex status information in a management-ready format (e.g., for SteerCos)
- Experience in communicating with local and global stakeholders from Tax, Finance, IT, and program management
Personal Skills
- Structured, self-reliant working style with high quality standards
- Strong communication skills and confident presence at all levels of hierarchy
- High attention to detail combined with the ability to abstract and report on the essentials
