Goal Of The Project: Support in optimizing and implementing procurement strategies in the IT area.
Role Overview: A company is looking for an experienced strategic IT buyer to improve purchasing processes and achieve cost savings. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge in sourcing IT services and products and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT products and services
- Conduct market analyses to identify potential suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine needs and optimize procurement processes
Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in the IT field
- Solid knowledge of the IT market and relevant products/services
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in contract drafting
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
