An AI Lab is seeking a legal expert to contribute to the training of their Large Language Model. The goal of the project is to enhance the model's understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and processes to ensure accurate and reliable outputs in legal contexts.
The role involves working closely with the AI development team to provide legal expertise, curate relevant datasets, and validate the model's performance in legal scenarios.
This is a remote, part-time role that can flex to your availability – from just a few hours per week up to full-time.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with AI researchers to identify key legal concepts and areas for model training.
- Provide expert insights into legal terminology and processes.
- Curate and review legal datasets for training purposes.
- Validate and test the model's outputs for accuracy and reliability in legal contexts.
- Offer guidance on ethical and regulatory considerations in AI applications for legal use cases.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in legal practice or academia.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes.
- Experience with AI or data-driven projects is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a bonus.
