Trained as a biologist, I initially specialized in ecology within zoology. This led to my work in the following areas:

• Data collection
• Environmental and nature conservation
• Analysis/statistics
• Data management
• Light microscopy

At the same time, before completing my diploma, I took practical courses in neurophysiology, electron microscopy, and biotechnology, and biochemistry was a minor subject in my diploma.

This led to my second area of work in related laboratory technologies:

• Chromatographic methods, including electrophoresis
• Photometry
• Microbiological methods
• Gene/protein sequencing
• Electron microscopy, etc.
