Summary
To briefly introduce myself, I am native Japanese with 15 years of experience in translation, transcreation and proofreading, and 3 years in interpretation (one year in in-person interpretation and two years in phone interpretation as the section chief). After studying literature in Kagoshima University, followed by spending 8 years in the United States, I have mainly pursued my career as a Japanese translator and worked as a full-time employee where I mainly translated and proofread IT, Education and Admin contents, though I also have expertise in Human Resources Management for Routing Systems Co., Ltd., which is an IT company in Tokyo., for being responsible in hiring and managing over 3,000 contract employers globally. Since resigning my full-time job and becoming a freelance-based translator and content writer in September of 2021, I have started to venture into a wide variety of industries and have participated in a number of projects, translating and proofreading documents, websites, and apps in the fields of energy, law, cryptocurrency, marketing, beauty, and many others. I have collaborated with a number of companies, including Binance which is the largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in the world, Tridge which is the world's leading data and media company in Food & Agricultures, and MyBest Inc., a well-established Japanese online magazine company.
