I help teams bring autonomous and AI-driven systems safely to release. My focus is functional safety and AI assurance for systems with a physical reference (autonomous driving, ADAS, robotics): ISO 26262, SOTIF (ISO 21448), ISO 21434, and EU AI Act readiness, from concept and safety analysis through perception validation, tool qualification, and audit-ready evidence.
What sets my work apart is a formal, model-based method. Rather than chasing open-world safety by statistical brute force alone, I treat meaning and context as something to be made explicit and verifiable: natural language and domain knowledge are turned into dynamic, context-sensitive ontologies that can be deductively checked against safety constraints and simulation, not merely pattern-matched. This runtime, formal-deductive view on validation is precisely where black-box deep learning reaches its epistemic limits under safety obligations.
My background spans automotive and aerospace safety engineering, computer vision and perception, and physics-based simulation, unified by a consistent systems-engineering approach. I work across Python, graph-based knowledge representation, model-driven engineering, and modern AI tooling, and I operate comfortably where engineering, data, and AI assurance meet.
