• Designed: Semantic Government Overlay (SGO) – AI-guided administration without replacing existing specialist procedures. Read-only semantic layer over registers and specialist processes based on the Federal Information Management (FIM). Decision authority remains with the case worker (architecture principle).
• Developed: Reference architecture with source-backed, derived statements (Executable Ontologies OWL/RDF/SHACL). Technically guaranteed purpose limitation and no-write-path principle in specialist data – auditable, without a central data pool.
• Anchored: Regulation as a design principle: EU AI Act (high-risk obligations for public-sector AI, fundamental rights impact assessment under Art. 27), GDPR, NIS2, and administrative automation limits (§ 35a VwVfG, § 31a SGB X) as technical control points in the architecture.
• Created: Methodical tool for pilot organizations: data pipeline assessment (phase 0), compliance blueprint, and management summary as a decision-ready package for public administration.
• Specified: UEF 3.0 as a successor architecture to TOGAF – decision paper, canonical ontology, six-layer architecture, read/actuate boundary, federation registry, terminology concordance, and release delta as a closed specification status.
• Architected: AI-native mission OS for autonomous UAS and ground robotics as a tactical layer on top of a separately approved autopilot. Run-time assurance according to ASTM F3269-21 (Simplex pattern): the verified safety controller keeps authority, the AI function provides suggestions.
• Designed: Three-tier architecture – Tier 0 autopilot with 650 Hz flight control on RTOS, Tier 1 AI OS with semantic world model and multi-agent cluster, Tier 2 swarm and ground mesh. Zenoh as the primary fabric, MAVLink as the only authenticated command path (single writer). Result: graceful degradation – loss of the mission, not of the aircraft.
• Secured: Two-gate chain on the read/actuate boundary – governance gate (can-question: AI Act risk class per actuation, enforced human oversight under Art. 14, immutable log) before the RTA safety monitor (is-it-correct question: flight envelope, geofence, energy reserve) with revert to the baseline controller.
• Anchored: Dual-use architecture with common core and build-time fork instead of runtime switch. Three separate legal levels: civil variant – UAS under the EASA Basic Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 with the limited applicability under Art. 2(2) of the AI Act, ground robotics under the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 with the full high-risk obligation chain, Cyber Resilience Act for both; unarmed carrier variant as defense material under AWG/AWV and Dual-Use Regulation 2021/821 (BAFA approval); armed variant under KrWaffKontrG. Each variant lives under exactly one dominant legal regime. Evidence base: AI BOM, SBOM, and complete data lineage.
• Analyzed: System analysis and realignment of grown engineering system landscapes. Approach concept for consolidation without migration – semantic layer over the existing sources instead of data transfer. Result: decision-ready implementation concept including an evaluation model for the target architecture.

• Steered: Development of the process and system landscape for the engineering area (software and methods). Scope: budget and resource planning, regular review board with management.
• Analyzed: As-is analysis of the engineering system landscape (CAD, PDM, ERP interfaces) with assessment of redundancies, system breaks, and data ownership as the basis for the roadmap. Replacement of a legacy solution of a non-integrated PLM system (ProFile) with a system from the PTC portfolio, WindChill. Preparation and conceptual design for an integration project of a major PLM system. Replacement of an existing system landscape in an affiliated company of the PSS group consisting of CREO direct modeling (SolidDesigner and ModelManager).
• Restructured: Redesign of the existing product structure by introducing a modularization and classification concept for variant management.
• Implemented: Concept for MDM, MDG, DVS, and product compliance structures on the material master. Methods for mass customization. Variant and configuration management via ILC 4PEP with connected CPQ system integration, CAS MERLIN. PTC PLM system WindChill connected to the existing CAE system CREO and the interfaces to SAP with SAP PLM system integration, add-on for WindChill. Extension of the CAE landscape through CodeBeamer. EPLAN connection to WindChill via the existing direct integration.
• Optimized: Creation of a combined value stream model with methods for mass customization and cost engineering. Result: improved efficiency in supplier development.
• Monitored: Power BI quality cockpit for slurry solutions – pH value, density, particle size d50, and temperature by batch and via inline sensors. DAX-calculated Shewhart control charts, moving average to separate measurement noise from real chemical trend, cp/cpk per supplier and mixing approach. Result: minimized scrap through corrective dosing before part damage and automatic stability proof for semiconductor customer audits.
• Designed: Development concept and roadmap for implementing a model-centric systemic virtual development methodology in a holistic end-to-end process landscape.

• Design and development of machines for roundwood processing (sawmill).

• Responsible for: full responsibility for new developments in mechatronic drive systems and design of machines for copper profile processing. Scope: budget responsibility, team of 4+ employees.
• Implemented: parametric product families for active parts and guides. Mechatronic units with servo direct drive.
• Managed: innovation management, specification and project leadership with scheduling, resource and budget planning, milestones, and requirements specification.
• Transformed: technical purchasing and supplier management. CAD administration. Result: patent applications (EHRT MultiTool, thread former).
• Digitalized: automated supplier rating in technical purchasing with Power BI and DAX directly on ERP data from orders, goods receipts, and quality reports – delivery, quantity, and quality compliance as a weighted score from 0 to 100 points. Result: ABC screening with traffic light logic, fact-based annual price negotiations on the filtered report, no more monthly Excel evaluation.

• CAD administration and training.

• Responsible for: Technology and architecture responsibility for CAMCO Engineering UG since 2008. Built the service range from design and CAx/PLM to process and system landscape development, agentic AI architecture, enterprise architecture, and autonomous systems.
• Managed: Client acquisition, offer preparation, costing, and delivery of customer mandates on a service contract basis. Technical lead in project teams at the customer site, with budget and schedule responsibility in each mandate.
• Developed: CAMCO Engineering UG's own IP – Unified Enterprise Framework (UEF 3.0), Semantic Government Overlay (SGO), SIDL, DC-KOA, and the dual-use architecture for autonomous systems.
• Produced: Visual communication for concepts, technical articles, and customer presentations with generative video and image models – from storyboard and prompt design to editing and motion graphics, all the way to voice-over.

• Design of tools and fixtures for Johnson Controls, Zwilling AG, Umicore AG & Co. KG, and Harley-Davidson Inc.
