Back in customer support, I provided technical support and used my software engineering skills to help customers around the world. By implementing our developer-focused products, such as building Workers with JavaScript/TypeScript and debugging complex latency and performance issues in our network, I achieved one of the highest customer satisfaction rates on the team.

Most recently, the focus in the on-call area was incident management, incident communication, and shift leadership.

As a TSE, I supported many customers with Cloudflare integration and troubleshooting over phone, chat, and email at a highly technical level. This requires a deep understanding of Cloudflare products as well as protocols (HTTP, TLS, DNS, BGP, ICMP, and more), web technologies (load balancing, proxies, cloud infrastructure, security, ...) and programming languages.

At the company, I won the internal Cloudflare Core Values Award, handled internal emergencies as a regular on-call, improved work efficiency and coordination by programming bots that helped us with daily tasks, and helped colleagues when they were stuck - for example in my role as a subject-matter expert for general and advanced SSL/TLS and Cloudflare partners.

At Gentlent, we build everything for our clients around internet software and websites. From managing Internet Number Resources (IPs, ASNs, etc.) as an accredited RIPE NCC member, to domain registration and building our own servers like DNS servers, HTTPS servers, etc., the possibilities here are endless.

Client work in application development and system integration is also part of everyday work here. From Laravel projects for digital Swiss psychotherapy services to NextJS projects for the media industry. Teaching as part of the training of IT specialists in software development (PHP, JS, Java, databases) was also part of my full-time work here over the last 1.5 years.

I worked closely with YouTube MCNs, multinational media companies, agencies, and other partners to build great user experiences with a powerful backend. A challenging environment has the benefit of learning from experience.

I stand out through creative thinking and aim for continuous learning at tech startups and media companies. My focus is on making the web a safer and more useful place.

My tech stack includes HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including Edge Workers). I work with NodeJS and TypeScript, Golang, PHP, and to a small extent with Python/Java/Rust/C++. I also have experience with SSL/TLS, web security, network technologies, and Linux systems. I have worked with Cloudflare, GCP, and other service providers and tools, and I also use collaborative tools.

I did software development for companies such as Animus IVS (YouTube partner), SpareMusic Ltd. (YouTube MCN), and others.

My tech stack here included HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (with AngularJS), as well as PHP, Python, and Bash in the backend. This also included MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Google Cloud Datastore. I also gained further experience in server administration, with SSL/TLS and web security.
