Summary

There are 3Ps to define a business: People, Product and Process. A startup runs on 2P, People develop Product. A corporation sustain on 3P, People develop Process, process develops Product.

I resume my past 30+ years of experience in design the horizontal PLM process based on vertical Systems Engineering processes. This is the necessary backbone before process automatization and digitalization. Transition from 2P to 3P requires complexity reduction, process adaptation, PLM governance and mindset change.

I also believe that Product and process can be controlled but people need to be convinced by demonstration of competence and art of communication.
