Project: GlobalLink Dashboard (B2B SaaS — Localization & AI Translation Platform)

• Enterprise SaaS platform managing end-to-end translation and localization workflows for ~30 B2B clients across life sciences, legal, retail, and finance. Exposes a mobile SDK serving 500M+ monthly API requests from end-user apps for instant in-app content localization. Backend handles API communication, file format parsing, AI-augmented translation pipelines, and cross-platform SDK delivery. Some single clients run 400+ active linguists and managers concurrently. Cross-functional team of 25 (frontend, backend, QA, product, design).

Selected impact & ownership:

• • Founding-team architect: created the Vue.js frontend from scratch and led the full Vue 3 migration (~200 components, ~12 months, zero downtime); architectural decisions and direction adopted across the entire 25-person engineering organisation.
• • Owned the 0-to-1 OpenAI integration on the frontend, surfacing custom fine-tuned LLM features inside the dashboard. Launched last year and adopted by ~3 enterprise clients with strongly positive reception; now a differentiator in active conversations with prospective large clients and a driver of new business.
• • Ideated, designed, and built the platform's shared component library from scratch (~200 components, light/dark theming, per-component shareable URLs); became the single reused foundation across the dashboard and the SDK consumed by downstream client integration teams. Delivered a ~70% improvement in development velocity across the 25-person cross-functional team.
• • Cut dashboard page load by 60% (2.5x faster) for 400+ linguists per client across ~30 enterprise customers by diagnosing and resolving a rendering bottleneck in a metadata-heavy view, directly improving client throughput and retention.
• • Designed and shipped client-facing operational metrics views giving ~30 enterprise clients transparent cost accountability across translation job counts, API request volumes, and AI token consumption per project.
• • Built and maintained a Python CLI tool (using click) for localization file sync via init, pull, push, and config commands; core library handles API communication, file format parsing, and config management. Contributed to the custom AI fine-tuning pipeline powering the OpenAI integration.
• • Contributed to the Flutter SDK, a customer-facing plugin wrapping the native iOS and Android SDKs to deliver GL Strings localization to Flutter apps via a single dependency; demonstrates cross-runtime full-stack reach.
• • Drove engineering standards adopted org-wide: established ESLint configuration, unit and integration testing (Jest, Playwright), and code-review practices across the 25-person engineering org; supported the platform's ISO 9001 and ISO 17100 certification alignment with measurable security gains (OWASP best practices).
