Role: Lead BW & SAC Consultant

Description: Migrated an excel-heavy annual budgeting cycle into a unified SAC Planning solution integrated with S/4HANA Finance.

Outcome: Consolidated data entry workflows across 15 regional departments, reducing the annual budgeting preparation cycle timeline by 3 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Construct business-friendly entities in the Business Builder (Data Products, Perspectives, and Consumption Models) to expose clean, formatted data to the analytics layer.
• Design strategies for Data Virtualization (real-time query federations) versus physical Data Replication (Data Flows, Replication Flows) to optimize system performance and reduce costs.
• Build high-fidelity executive dashboards Business Objects (BOBJ), Qlik Sense, operational reports, and KPIs using the SAC Optimized Story Experience.
• Manage SAC folder structures, roles, teams, and object-level permissions. Set up schedules to automatically broadcast reports via email.
• Optimize the data journey by pushing heavy computations down to Datasphere (via analytical datasets/models) so that SAC stories load instantly.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate vague business problems into definitive technical schemas in Datasphere and UI layouts in SAC & Business Objects (BOBJ).
• Conduct training sessions for business power users, teaching them how to leverage Datasphere's semantic layers to build their own ad-hoc SAC reports safely.

• Responsible for creating complex and Multidimensional reports using Master / Transaction details cross tab, slice & dice and sub-queries using SAP BW & BO tools. (Lumira, AFO, BEX Designer, BEx & Analyzer, & WebI)
• Strong knowledge of S4HANA architecture and functionalities.
• Designed and developed SAP Datasphere solutions including data modelling, data integration, and semantic layer development to support enterprise analytics and reporting requirements.
• Created and optimized Datasphere models using Graphical Views, SQL Views, Data Builder, and Business Builder concepts.
• Worked on 3.X flows, 2LIS data structure for Inventory, SD, MM & FI modules and resolving production system issues. Develop and implement new SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions to support enterprise reporting.
• Deeply involved in system maintenance (Yearly, Quarterly, Timely) and handling system Downtime activities.
• Experience with data migration and integration processes in S4HANA.
• Worked on ABAP for writing Routines, Customer exists and BADI to reach the technical changes.
• Experience in developing and configuring stories, dashboards, models, and data acquisition routines in SAC.

• Developed solutions/programs to support business requirements including writing ABAP codes, SAP User exits, BEx Variables and Formulas, & Function Modules.
• Worked on SLT to ensure LIVE data is imported to the BW system on daily basis without issues.
• As a Techno-functional Consultant & an Onsite Coordinator developed excellent relations with clients and made the objects delivered by interacting with the Off-shore team.
• Worked on BW4HANA development on Orders, Delivery and Cost of sales reports using B4HANA and native HANA functionality Finally, the reports are exposed in BO 4.1 version.
• Designed Universes using IDT & UDT and built reports based on the relational database on top of universes.
• Defining the continuous improvement plan and lifecycle of the Analytics products.
