In this project, I was responsible for the design and implementation of a new, modular, and highly scalable test bench platform for an automotive supplier. My focus was on developing a robust system architecture and programming the associated software, with consistent use of UML modeling throughout. Automation Of Injection Molding Machine
Here I worked as lead developer for the automation of a complex injection molding process. My task included the complete programming of the automation solution, with a strong focus on seamless integration of Fanuc robot units via EtherCAT and ProfiNet into the overall system. By using modern safety concepts in TwinCAT, I was also able to ensure a high level of process safety, which together with efficient control led to a noticeable increase in plant throughput.

Creation Of Test Sequences For Electronics Manufacturing
Within electronics manufacturing, I was responsible for developing extensive test sequences. My goal was to establish highly standardized and robust test workflows using TestStand and LabVIEW, which were used for automated quality assurance (FCT) of printed circuit boards and end devices. I placed particular emphasis on integrating precise DMM measurement methods and connecting to existing ECAD workflows in order to significantly increase the efficiency of the entire test chain.

Optimization Of Laser Fiber Testing

Test Bench For Brush Seals
I developed complex software for a test bench for brush seal analysis, based on LabVIEW and cRIO. The main challenge was the high-precision real-time data acquisition (DAQmx) of mechanical load values and their exact correlation with drive data provided via TwinCAT and EtherCAT. This made it possible to perform in-depth analysis of sealing behavior under different load conditions.
