Summary

I am a professional .NET developer and a passionate software enthusiast. Modern C# is my passion. My focus is on high-performance backend solutions with ASP.NET Core and cloud services in Azure and AWS. In addition, I have developed WPF applications for several years and have been using NodeJS and Angular more often in recent years. For some years now, I have been experimenting regularly with Rust, am active on GitHub, and provide code examples there. I also have a soft spot for embedded software with C++.

Besides my focus on .NET technologies, I am a certified Azure Developer and can help with cloud migrations and new development. For this, I have gained hands-on experience with the common compute, storage, and event solutions in Azure. I work just as well with cross-cutting services for monitoring, telemetry, API management, and virtual networks as with standard authentication mechanisms in Azure.

In the cloud environment, I am convinced of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and know my way around Terraform, the Azure CLI, and Bicep/ARM Templates very well. I can also help with pricing questions.

I stand for high code quality and like to develop with common design patterns. Through constant learning, I am able to work with you to find architectures and solution approaches and implement them as well. Of course, unit, integration, and system tests as well as structured debugging are part of my daily work. Thanks to my technical studies, I can also help with IoT projects.

In the DevSecOps area, I support common CI/CD solutions in Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab. Creating build pipelines is just as much part of my skill set as package management with NuGet and npm and professional work with git. I also handle process automation with Bash and PowerShell and create Docker containers.

Teamwork is very important to me; I also see code reviews as an essential part of breaking up knowledge silos and spreading know-how. I have a lot of experience working in international teams and like to develop in an agile and iterative way.
