I am a senior TYPO3 and PHP developer and solution architect based in Germany, providing external development services through my own company. With around 20 years of experience in the TYPO3 and PHP ecosystem, I support agencies, companies, and public-sector clients in the development, modernization, and long-term maintenance of web applications.

My work typically focuses on technically complex or business-critical projects where clean architecture, stability, and maintainability are essential. I am often brought in when internal teams need additional capacity, when legacy systems require refactoring, or when projects need a structured migration to modern PHP or TYPO3 versions.

Depending on project needs, I take responsibility for complete TYPO3 or PHP-related tasks, or focus specifically on backend or frontend components. I work independently but integrate easily into existing teams and processes. My services include development, refactoring, migrations, API integrations, performance optimization, and technical support. If required, I can also work fully white-label and interact directly with end clients.

My core technical focus is TYPO3 and modern PHP development. I regularly work with current PHP versions and frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony, and I have extensive experience with CMS platforms including TYPO3, WordPress, and Drupal. Frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as relational databases like MySQL, are part of my daily work. I also design and implement APIs and system integrations.

Typical responsibilities in projects include:

• Development and further development of PHP-based web applications (backend and frontend)
• Technical analysis, solution design, and implementation
• Refactoring and modernization of legacy codebases
• Migration of existing systems to modern PHP or TYPO3 versions
• Implementation and integration of REST APIs and external services
• Quality assurance, testing, and technical documentation
• Knowledge transfer and support within project teams

In addition to application development, I have solid experience in Linux-based environments and containerized setups using Docker. This includes CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and typical web hosting configurations. I am frequently involved in projects where multiple initiatives run in parallel, technical debt needs to be reduced, or long-term external support is required.

I work in German and English, primarily in remote setups, and am available for both short-term engagements and long-term collaborations within structured project environments.
