Commissioning engineer and commissioning manager for mechanical parts and DCS in the project

• is the responsible representative of DCS on site to the end customer, third parties and official bodies (e.g. ZÜS) etc., carries out the commissioning-related communication on site
• implementation of the commissioning for the DCS scope of delivery (Lot 2), coordination of the commissioning participation of subcontractors
• support and participation in the relevant documents of the end customer KENOW for the overall project and the overall commissioning across all lots
• development of the necessary monthly, weekly and daily programs and checklists for the commissioning
• necessary detailed scheduling for the commissioning of the lot scope and participation in the creation of comprehensive schedules and schedules
• coordination and instruction/management of the specialist commissioning engineers of subcontractors (e.g. Siemens for DT) as well as of the auxiliary staff and operating staff provided by the end customer
• quality assurance and monitoring of the scope of delivery Lot 2 with regard to commissioning aspects; based on the final assembly inspection status of the construction management
• Support and assistance in processing LOP points from the start of commissioning
• Maintaining the commissioning diary, preparing the necessary commissioning reports and protocols
• Preparing the documents required for commissioning on HSE and GuR topics and implementing these in the scope of the own lot
• Supporting the trial operation and creating/maintaining ongoing protocols, daily reports etc.
• active participation in any errors and punch items and solutions found on site

Responsible for the provision of health, safety and environmental advice, information and guidance, ensuring that Company and legislative requirements are implemented fully resulting in Injury and Incident Free Workplaces with zero tolerance towards non-compliances. Pharma experience would be highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of company and legislative EHS requirements throughout Ireland, in all places that the company is undertaking activities
• Advise company and project management on all aspects of health, safety and environmental issues
• Advise the Managing Director and the Company Safety Manager of all serious accidents and incidents
• Compile accident and incident reports
• Collate accident statistics and conduct trend analysis reviews
• Compile and regularly update EHS procedures, manuals, guidance notes and the like
• Undertake risk assessment of office premises and implement requirements Undertake site risk assessments as required
• Ensure all legally required notices and signs are displayed in company premises
• Liaise with HSE, Environment Agency or other government appointed body
• Conduct site safety and environmental audits
• Ensuring that all risk assessments are kept up to date and that the Company Health & Safety Statements are reviewed annually
• Conducting training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on environmental, health and safety practices and legislation.
• Co-ordinating emergency procedures, fire drills and first aid crews.- Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheet databases for all materials on site

Primary contact point for assigned customers and responsible for customer management/relationship/communication, overall contract performance, scope execution, and site P&L growth. Ensure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of project progress, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions to any issue arising during contract execution. Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics specific to the contract. Perform proposal negotiation and contract administration functions on assigned proposals/contracts with minimal supervision. Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts. Act as liaison for the customer on contract matters. Manage inventory, demand placement, procurement, logistics planning, and shipment of new and repaired parts for assigned multi-year agreements / transactional / new unit warranty / upgrade project contracts / customers; work with Outages Managers and Contracts teams to achieve timely resolution of customer technical issues, parts/repairs planning and fulfilment, and overall customer satisfaction in Gas Power Services execution. Accountable for field service performance, ensuring successful scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, new unit warranty management, and CM&U (Combustion, Modification & Upgrades) project implementation/coordination of assigned contract equipment;

Site management - coordination of the contractual project scope of works - Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant (Slovak Republic). Coordination of subcontractors, works, meetings, schedules, reporting, etc. Organizing the construction site team to supervise the EPC Contractor's construction progress and the quality of the works until COD (i.e. inspection witnessing, punch list clearance, issuing mechanical completion certificates, readiness of turnover packages, checking and implementing commissioning procedures). Defining the necessary methods/tools to track the above objectively and ensure the availability of supporting documentation in the project document management system. Ensuring the EPC Contractor's compliance with all site HSE rules and regulations at every stage of construction; ensuring the EPC Contractor's compliance in executing the works with the approved Method Statements / Risk Analyses and regulations at every stage of construction; organization of the site layout, offices, storage area, etc.; weekly site meetings, progress and/or discipline technical meetings with EPC Contractor; monitoring and checking the EPC Contractor's work across each discipline to ensure timely delivery of the works; in cooperation with the schedule engineer, following up actual progress versus planned values and raising concerns to EPC Contractor correspondences; ensuring that critical activities are executed according to schedule and looking for opportunities to create margin within the critical path; analyzing the works and imposing optimizations towards the Project where possible; evaluation and approval of all delay plans and activities to secure overall schedule management of on-site technical personnel; meetings, records, reporting, documentation support, commissioning procedures, handover to Client.
